Thanks to today’s technologies, communication, an inevitable daily aspect, has become even more simple and accessible, or we could say more technologically interactive.
We don’t necessarily need to meet each other in order to communicate, because we’ve got cell phones, computers, Internet, webcams that simplify this process and make it really convenient, especially if the person you would like to have chat with lives far away from your neighborhood.
It’s a term with a broader meaning, because, unlike instant messaging programs, which are intended for one-to-one communication, it enables or makes it possible for multiple users to take part in the same conversation, typically known as videocalling or videoconferencing.
